Location Note: On-Site Support Required

 

Internal Controls testing: 

  • Interpret FISCAM and develop/send requests for evidence supporting control implementation and continued control performance
  • Interview system owners, administrators, database administrators and other functional or technical personnel 
  • Review system standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other governing operational documents (e.g. change management plans, test management plans)
  • Test control design and operating effectiveness using FISCAM
  • Write clear and concise work papers for all testing conducted
  • Track/report requests and delivery of requested evidence
  • Track/report testing progress
  • Track/report testing results-Pass/Fail
Audit Liaison:
  • Review external auditor requests for evidence
  • Review evidence submissions for correctness
  • Prepare system owners for external Auditor walkthroughs
  • Attend External Auditor walkthrough meetings 
Deficiency Remediation Support:
  • Analyze auditor findings
  • Communicate issues to system owners
  • Evaluate system owner corrective action plans
  • Track/Report remediation progress
Other Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage system owner relationships
  • Respond promptly to client, customer and system owner inquiries (e.g. emails, jabbers)
  • Maintain weekly accomplishments
Critical Skills & Attributes Required for Success
  • Highly adept at analytical thinking, problem solving and applying solutions to similar circumstance
  • Extreme attention to detail; especially in writing emails, work papers, status reports and similar work products
  • Ability to work independently and be fully accountable for results
  • Adherence to quality control processes; including submission of work plans and products through Subject Matter Expert and client reviews; Prompt action taken on recommended changes
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Quickly grasp understanding of agency organizational structure and stakeholders and areas of responsibility within that structure
Education and qualifications:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current TS/SCI Security clearance
  • Current CI poly or eligibility to obtain CI poly
  • 14 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
  • One or more of the following certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC
  • Extensive xperience performing FISCAM, NIST, OMB Circular A-123 internal control, audit readiness, SSAE 16, and FISMA security reviews
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
E-volve Technology Systems salaries are determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the candidates’ education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract-specific funding and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $185,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of E-volve's total compensation package for employees.
